Thomaston Food Pantry
Helping Knox County People In Need Of Food

What We Do

Our mission is to provide food assistance to people in Knox county in need.

Thomaston Inter‑Church Fellowship Food Pantry provides basic food items to people living in Knox County who meet income requirements or who are facing an emergency situation and need food. Currently we provide food for about 110 people each month.

When people come in we will help them fill out our federal application and can approve the form at the same time.

The basic foodstuffs that we distribute typically include canned vegetables and fruit, spaghetti sauce, tuna, pasta, cereal, meat, bread, crackers, and cheese as well as items including toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.

The Thomaston Food Pantry is one of hundreds of food assistance programs working in Maine to help get food to Mainers at risk of going hungry.

We are a volunteer operation and will welcome the offer of your time.
